The ProSeries tax software from Intuit has evolved from TurboTax. Today ProSeries is one of the most widely used professional tax preparation software. It has become the tax software that most tax prepares swear by. There are mainly three versions of ProSeries, namely ProSeries Basic, ProSeries Express and ProSeries professional.
ProSeries has made the job of preparing tax returns easy. ProSeries has features that show tax prepares when data is missing. Proseries lacks the necessary professional support. They moved their assistance to the Philippines and their wait time is over a half hour on the average. They can not provide the necessary service to a professional, nor can they manage to even assist in changing addresses or phone numbers on the first call. It usually takes three to four calls to get a simple task accompolished with these people!
There are other softwares which can be used in place of Proseries.
Why not trying that
:)
Intuit service is nothing short of dreadful. They are only open during business hours (and who works only during business hours) and the wait is endless -- and only sometimes do you get someone who can help
Use another software. I was a long time intuit fan and user -- but I am switching
So outsourcing is a much better option as once you outsource you dont have to deal with such software problems as the partner to whom you outsource deals with all these kind of stuff.
So you save on time and spend more on your work and make more money.
